It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kurt R. Mueller, aged 90. Kurt passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
Kurt was married to his devoted wife Lillian Mueller for 62 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with unwavering support for one another. He was a proud father to two daughters, Laura (David) Joseph and Karen (David) Alm, who carry forward his values and spirit.
Kurt was a cherished grandfather to Jennifer (Thomas) Campanelli, Eric Joseph, Emily Alm, and Daniel Alm, and loving great grandfather to Amelia Campanelli. His family was his greatest joy, and he took immense pride in their accomplishments and the love they shared.
He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends. His memory will live in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Kurt’s life was marked by integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic. As an industrial engineer he had many achievements one highlight is a mold design that is currently on display at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. His early life focused on being a competitive athlete. Playing his favorite sport, baseball as a catcher, which gained him recognition by the NY Yankees and the NY Giants, in 1953. In his later years, Kurt was the captain of his community Bocce league team, where his competitive nature led his team to victory.
