Kyle Thomas Doyle

Kyle Thomas Doyle, 38, of Queens, NY, passed away on August 7, 2026. He was the beloved son of Michael and Dianne Doyle; cherished brother of Michael (Andrea) Doyle and Margaret (Matthew) Connors; devoted Uncle to Ailis Doyle and Mason Connors and friend to many.

He was born on December, 20 1987 in Bayshore, NY; spent his early years in Central Islip, NY and grew up in Eastport, NY. After graduating from Eastport-South Manor Junior-Senior High School in 2006, he attended Binghamton University, where he studied abroad at the Université Paris-Sorbonne (2008–2009) and graduated Cum Laude in 2010 with a degree in French and Arabic.

Flying, traveling, languages and cultures (particularly French) were passions of Kyle’s. Through his flight attendant career he had the opportunity to see much of the world, something he genuinely loved. Through him, his family got to experience those places vicariously. His pictures and videos brought the world home. For a while, the family joked that Kyle would only get his hair cut in Copenhagen.

Kyle was admired and respected by his colleagues throughout his career as a flight attendant. He was a Purser (Lead cabin crew) and Cabin Crew Instructor at Norse, and in 2026 was elected Secretary-Treasurer of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA) union. Previously, while at Norwegian, he volunteered and was selected to take part in a 2017 UNICEF relief mission to Yemen (via Djibouti). Kyle was known for his dedication and warmth and for incorporating his clients’ own culture and language into his service; a personalized touch that was appreciated by many, and something that Kyle could uniquely provide.

Kyle also had a deep love and appreciation for our family history and ancestry. He dedicated much of his free time researching and building an elaborate family tree. Every visit seemed to come with a new connection, photograph, or discovery of our family history. If someone needed help identifying a person at the Doyle Family Reunion, Kyle was always the first person they turned to. He also enjoyed photography, music, and astronomy. He diligently tracked “what was overhead” in the night sky which gave us a much needed excuse to pause, take a break from the world, look up, and be inspired.

Kyle will be deeply missed, but remembered forever by all who had the pleasure to know him.
