Lawrence Michael McDevitt

Lawrence Michael McDevitt, 68, of Holbrook, NY, passed away on April 1, 2026, unexpectedly.

He was born on February 27, 1958, in Yonkers, New York to Mickey and Margaret McDevitt. He grew up in Deer Park and went on to study HVAC at Farmingdale College.

He worked in the field of heating and air conditioning and started his first company in the early 80's. Larry eventually branched out on his own and started Associated Energy in 2005. He was known for his hard work and generosity. He enjoyed boating, fishing and lotto. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh and beautiful smile.

Larry is survived by his daughter Sharon (Robert), sons Kevin (Kate), Brian and grandchildren, Kayla, Liam, Riley and Finn. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Daniel.

Larry was a loving father figure, and beloved grandpa who will be remembered for his humor, love of family, and enjoyment of the simple things in life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
