Leslie E. Chornama Jr. of East Moriches, NY passed away peacefully on Sept. 8th. Predeceased by his loving wife Sherrie. He is survived by his sister Geraldine Strebel her husband James Strebel, brother Frank Chornona and nephews Robert, Scott and Jimmy Strebel.Leslie was a well-known real estate agent, business owner and farmed with his dad. He was a U.S. Marine & Vietnam veteran. He was an avid hunter + fisherman, who told many enjoyable stories. Leslie was a unique person who had wonderful friends who always helped or joked around with him. He lived a good life, and we will surely miss him.He will be laid to rest on Sept. 16th which ironically is his birthday. He loved Sherrie very much and as a present to her, he will rest beside her in Mount Pleasant cemetery.
