Lester William Krumm (1928-2025)Lester William Krumm, 97, of East Northport, New York, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 8, 1928, to Charles George and Mary Bonhart.
Lester was a hardworking man whose greatest joy was his family. A hardworking man from an early age, Lester built a successful career as a business owner and master mechanic. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was known for his integrity, dedication, and love of family.
Lester met the love of his life, Mary, and they were married on November 12, 1960. Together they raised three children—Joanne, Maryanne, and Leslie—whom he adored and was deeply proud of.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Lester served his country with honor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary, and his four siblings, and is survived by his twin sister, Harriet. Lester is also survived by his loving wife, Mary; his children, Joanne, Maryanne, and Leslie; his sons-in-law, Frank, Bill, and Ritchie; and his cherished grandchildren, Frank William, Julianne, Paige, and Chase.Lester’s legacy of love, integrity, and hard work will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Moloney's Lake Funeral Home on November 9, 2025, from 2–4 PM and 7–9 PM. A Funeral Mass will take place on November 10 at 11 AM at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church.
