It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lisa Ann Dismore on December 25, 2025, at the age of 58. Born in Riverhead, NY, Lisa touched the lives of many with her warmth and boundless compassion. A devoted wife to her beloved husband, Thomas, for 26 years, Lisa's legacy will live on through her cherished children: Kristen (Ray), Hailey, and Jarrett. She also leaves behind her treasured grandson, Theodore, who brought her immense joy.
Lisa was known not only as a dedicated Teacher's Aid and Mentor at the Westhampton Beach Learning Center but also as a nurturing spirit who extended her motherly love to all she encountered. Her kindness knew no bounds, often leading her to lend a helping hand to strangers and to nurture a variety of rescued animals-birds, dogs, lizards, and more. The nicknames "Mama Dolittle" and "Mama D" perfectly encapsulate her loving approach to life and the world around her.
As the cherished sister of David (Amy), John (Donna), Lee (Jodi), and Dawn, as well as the late Christopher. Lisa is also survived by her stepmother Sylvia DeLong. Lisa will be deeply missed by her extended family who experienced her love and care firsthand. She taught us all the importance of valuing memories over material possessions and showed us the beauty of unconditional love.
Lisa Ann Dismore will be forever remembered as a beacon of kindness and a truly loving spirit in our lives.
