Lorijean was born to the late Harold and Blanche Scharfenberg, July 25, 1961. She is survived by her loving older sister: Patti Ann Brady.
There was nothing that Lorijean could not achieve. She was a self-employed commercial embroiderer, yoga instructor, minister, mountain climber, artist and designer. Her proudest accomplishment was being the mother of two boys: Peter and Matthew and a grandmother to three: Tyler, Madison and Faith.
A viewing ceremony will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 4 p.m. at Moloney’s Funeral Home in Lake Ronkonkoma. In lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation be made to her GoFundMe page. Donations will be used to purchase compression socks for the healthcare professionals that guided Lori throughout her journey.
