Marcia E. Schaefer, 75, of Lake Grove, passed away on September 14, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Dean; their son, Matthew and his wife Kimberly Schaefer; their daughter, Carolyn and husband Matthew Durgin; and their daughter, Denise and husband Matthew Diehl. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Audrey, Jason, Evan, Eleanor and Bennett. Friends and family will gather at Moloney Family Funeral Home in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, on Wednesday, September 18 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. A final service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 19.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org would be appreciated.
