In Loving Memory of Margaret Marilyn Hanley (Eberhard) 1933 – 2026 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Hanley (Eberhard) on October 13, 2026, at the age of 93. Margaret was a loving and devoted mother to her five daughters: Grace Marie Collins (Randy) of Manorville, Katherine Bates (Ken) of Ontario, Margaret Dombrowski (Peter) of Clarksville, Patricia Hanley of Manorville, and Elaine Hanley (Jim) of Ontario. She was a cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and happiness to her life. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harry J. Hanley, who passed away in 2009. A gifted and passionate artist, Margaret had a remarkable talent for expressing her creativity through her artwork. Her beautiful creations remain a lasting part of her legacy. She was also a longtime member of the Moriches Bay Historical Society, reflecting her appreciation for the history and heritage of her community. Above all, Margaret will be remembered for her love of family, her creative spirit, and the lasting impression she made on those fortunate enough to know her. Margaret was deeply loved by her family, friends, and neighbors, all of whom knew her for her kindness and welcoming nature. She had a special way of making everyone feel at home, treating friends and neighbors as though they were part of her own family. Margaret had a wonderful sense of humor, loved sharing a laugh, and especially treasured the time she spent surrounded by those she loved. Her laughter and genuine care for others will be fondly remembered by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. A service celebrating Margaret's life will be held at Moloney-Sinnicksons Funeral Home, 203 Main St., Center Moriches, NY 11934, on Saturday, October 17, between 12~4 PM.
