Marie O'Connor

Marie O’Connor (nee Iammatteo), passed away April 24, 2020. She was born to Giovanni and Carmela, February 18, 1938. Marie lived a fulfilling life as a loving mother and grandmother, a companion, a caring sister, and a friend to so many. She is survived by her son Robert, his wife Lori, and grandchildren Kevin, Bryan, Eric, and Steven; her brother Pat, and his wife Lena. She shared her last days virtually with her family and left this world peacefully.

Funeral services are suspended due to the COVID-19 situation. Marie will be interred at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery in Flushing, reuniting with her parents on May 18.

Gratitude is owed the healthcare workers who cared for her in her final days, at great personal risk.
