Marina A. Marte

Marina A. Marte, born on October 18, 1948 In Santiago, Dominican Republic. She passed away peacefully due to natural causes on June 20, 2026, in Port Jefferson, NY. She was 77 years old. 

A devoted mother and grandmother, Marina is survived by her beloved daughter Arely Fernandez and son Edward Fernandez, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Anaise DeJesus, Charisma Fernandez, and Ezra Fernandez. Marina is predeceased by her son Steven Fernandez and her parents, Manuel and Rosamelia Marte, who instilled in her the values of love and faith that she carried throughout her life. 

Her love for cooking and traditional Spanish music brought joy to those around her. She could often be found moving to the rhythms of her favorite romantic tunes, embodying the spirit of her heritage. Marina also had a passion for plants and flowers, always ensuring her home was adorned with beautiful arrangements that reflected her vibrant personality. 

Marina will be dearly missed but will live on in the memories and love of her family and friends.
