Marion Fracassa

Marion Fracassa, 65, of Holbrook, New York, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026.

Marion was the beloved wife of Ralph Fracassa, her loving partner through 41 years of marriage, creating a lifetime of memories and laughter together. She was the devoted mother of Angela Peters and her husband, Kevin, sharing an exceptionally close bond as both mother and daughter and best friends. She was the loving daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Petralia and is survived by her mother-in-law, Antonia Fracassa, and late father-in-law, Orlando Fracassa. She shared a lifelong bond with her sisters, Frances Inzalaco and her husband, Bob; Theresa Bucholz and Bart; and Florence Bravy and her husband, John. She was also very close with her brothers-in-law, Orlando; Christopher and his wife, Jennifer; and her sisters-in-law, Lisa and her husband, Warren; Anna and her husband, Gus; and the late Filomena and her husband, Matt. Marion was a loving aunt who deeply cherished her nieces and nephews.

Above everything else in Marion's life was family. She was a devoted wife, an extraordinary mother, a loving sister, aunt, and friend, and the person her family could always count on. Strong, hardworking, generous, and fiercely devoted to the people she loved, Marion built her life around taking care of others. Nothing brought her greater happiness than having her family together, feeding them, celebrating with them, and knowing that the people she loved were happy and cared for. Marion had a beautiful, unforgettable smile that could light up a room and brought warmth to everyone around her.

Marion was a Registered Nurse at Mather Hospital for 46 years. Nursing was more than a profession to Marion; caring for others was a fundamental part of who she was. She formed lasting relationships with her patients and was deeply loved and respected by her coworkers. With nearly half a century as a nurse, Marion touched countless lives through her compassion and dedication.

Marion's strength, generosity, and devotion to others will be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her family was her greatest love, and the life she built around them will remain her greatest legacy.

Marion will be deeply missed, endlessly remembered, and forever loved.
