Michael Andrew Pontius passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 after a lengthy illness. He was the son of Hardy B. Pontius and Patricia A. Aubrey. Michael is survived by his mother; stepfather, Richard; brother, Daniel; sister-in-law, Stacey; step sister, Alison and her husband, Danny. Michael was a beloved nephew and cousin to many extended family members. Michael was a long time resident of Rise Life Services in Riverhead where he was a dear friend to many.
