Millie Fiscella

Millie Fiscella, 95 of Ronkonkoma passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 7, 1928 to the late Giovanna (Martino) and Joseph Spinella. She was the widow of Vincent Fiscella and also preceded in death by three brothers- Joseph, Charles and Nicholas.
She was a loving mother to five daughters- Marianne (Dwayne) Gleason, Christine (Jay) Steinger, Lorraine (Michael) Stankiewicz, Patricia (Thomas) Link, Carolyn (Brian) Dieterich. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for all the greeting cards she sent to family and friends for birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. Also, her Sunday phone calls to keep in touch with loved ones, holiday card games she usually always won, and doing crossword puzzles with a giant magnifying glass. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her favorite charities, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the March of Dimes.
