It is with deep sorrow that the family of Norma Antoinette Rutowicz, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Homemaker and Friend announce her passing on April 26, 2020. Norma was one of the most loving, lighthearted, funny and kind people you could ever know. She was born on August 27, 1941 to Matilda and Michael Fina and lived a life of unwavering commitment to her family.

Norma's greatest joy was time with her family, especially gathered around the dinner table. She was a wonderful baker, baking many beautiful cakes over the years for friends and family. She also cherished her weekly Mah-Jong game. Norma rarely missed a telephone call and treasured every conversation. She was endlessly interested in what was going on in your life and she never missed a chance to rave about her grandchildren. No matter how her day was going, she always found a way to laugh.

Norma met the love of her life, Junnie, her husband of 60 years. Together, they moved to Long Island to raise their family. Norma is survived by her four children; Janine and husband Eric, Denise and husband Ivan, John and wife Heather, Michael and wife Dona, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Norma will be remembered for her kindness and laughter which were a beacon of light in the lives of everyone she met. The Joy and Love she brought into this world will be immensely missed.
