Pasquale La Spisa, a devoted father, grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on April 21, 1942, in Manhattan, NY, Pasquale lived a full and meaningful life rooted in love, family, and generosity. He spent his later years in Merrick, where he built a legacy that will continue in the hearts and homes of those who loved him.

A machinist by trade, Pasquale was known for his incredible craftsmanship, using his hands and heart to build more than just machines—he built memories. He lovingly constructed pieces for each of his children’s homes, ensuring a part of him would always remain with them. His creativity and care extended to his grandchildren, for whom he crafted special items they will cherish forever.

Pasquale was a man of many passions. He was an avid fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, old Westerns, game shows, and NASCAR. He proudly served as part of the La Spisa pit crew, supporting his son Christopher on the racetrack with the same unwavering dedication he showed his family. Pasquale’s love was constant and unconditional—his family always came first.

He is survived by six loving children: Deborah, Christopher, Patrick, John, Kevin, and Mark. He was predeceased by his beloved children Elizabeth and Michael, whom he held in his heart every day. Pasquale was the proud grandfather of twelve grandchildren: Brianna, Emily, Paige, Kaylee, Erica, Kyle, Samantha, Key-Marie, Victoria, Mackenzie, Peyton, and Collins.

Pasquale will be remembered for his boundless generosity, his warm smile, and his steadfast love. He was caring, giving, and deeply devoted—a true family man in every sense. His memory will live on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.
