Patricia A. Campanelli

Patricia Anne (Lang) Campanelli passed away on Friday April 17, 2026, at the age of 87 due to complications from dementia and Parkinson's disease. Patricia grew up in Maspeth, Queens. She was the middle daughter of Anthony and Lillian Lang. 

Patricia went to school at the Mary Louis Academy and she went on to graduate from St. Joseph's college with a degree in Elementary Education. Patricia taught elementary school for 35 years starting out in the Jericho School system and then moving on to the Middle Country School District in Centereach. 

Patricia married Frank Joseph Campanelli Jr. on October 20, 1962, and the couple would settle in Lake Grove where they would spend the next 63 years raising their family together. They had two children, Gerard, who married Alma Miller, and Maria, who married Steven Koontz. Patricia was blessed with, and became the loving grandmother of 5: Zachary, Jonathan, Alexandria, Daniel and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her two sisters Kathleen Sanacore and Dorothy Walters.
