Paul J. Napoli

Paul Joseph Napoli was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 3rd, 1929. He was a Corporal in the US Army and served in the Korean War from January 1951 to December 1952. In the Fall of 1959, he met Elizabeth Theresa Mohen through Ed and Marilyn Gast. They married on July 2, 1960.

Paul and Elizabeth raised four daughters Regina, Kathleen, Madeline and Margaret in Hauppauge, NY. Paul’s career was a Plant Manager and later in retirement he took joy in his work with the Suffolk County HEAP program, Knights of Columbus and American Legion.

He was a devout Catholic and worked on living his faith through volunteering. Paul was an Usher and Eucharistic Minister at St. Patrick’s in Smithtown. He & Elizabeth volunteered with Catholic Charities & RCIA and additionally Paul worked with St Vincent de Paul. In 2022, Paul was awarded a 5,000 hours pin for his volunteering at the Long Island Veterans Home.

Paul is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his four daughters, their spouses and six grandchildren and two cats, Rebecca and Thaddeus.
