Peter L. D’Agata, 84, of Holbrook New York passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. He was born on January 3rd, 1939 in Brooklyn New York to the late Louis and Anna D’Agata.The beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Schiro), devoted father to Carol Murphy and her husband James Murphy of Ridge New York. Cherished grandfather of Shannen Murphy of San Jose, California and Steven Murphy of Ridge, New York.

Peter served in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea and later had a career of over 20 years as a New York City Police Officer. A lifelong sports fan, he especially loved baseball and was an ardent supporter of the New York Mets from day one of their history. He was deeply committed to his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
