Peter E. Reilly

Peter Reilly 85, of Sound Beach died on March 24, 2018.

Beloved husband of Gay.  Loving father of Christine (Chuck), Celeste, Peter (Lourdes), Xavier (Rose), and Patrick (Patsey). Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Caroline, Chase, Lisa, Xavier, Matthew, Olivia, Andrew, Nicholas and Amelie.

Peter was an English teacher at Half Hollow Hills High School and a professor of Oral Communication at Suffolk Community College.

He was an active member of St. Louis De Montfort Church as a Eucharistic Minister, Minister of Consolation, and worked at the Outreach program.

The Mt. Sinai Senior club enjoyed his singing patriotic songs at meetings and his time as president. Peter will be remembered for his love, kindness and generosity to family and friends.
