Richard Morris Truce

Richard Morris Truce, 70, earned his wings on February 10th 2023 peacefully at home. A memorial service was held privately for immediate family. He is survived by his wife Marie Ann Horehlad Truce, son Jason Truce (Dana), grandson Jason Truce Jr., sisters Vieda Mazur, Fran Petito (John) and Sylvia Jung (deceased), niece Tori Mazur and mother-in-law Ann Horehlad.
Rich was a horticulturist and was a leader in bringing the hydroponic industry to Long Island. He enjoyed teaching others and sharing his knowledge. Continuing his love for nature, Rich was an avid fisherman, particularly fond of West Virginia.
