Richard Rajkowski, age 87, passed away on August 19, 2026.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and later built a distinguished career as an Air Traffic Controller. He was also deeply devoted to Good Shepherd Church, supporting and serving the parish from its establishment in the early 1970s with a faith that was steady and enduring. He was a man of enduring strength and deep devotion, and the love he shared with his wife, Lorraine, was the foundation of his life. Their bond was gentle, steady, and lasting, a love that touched everyone around them.
He leaves behind his sons, Richard and Michael; Michael’s wife, Billie; and his grandson, Aidan, who brought him endless joy. He is also lovingly remembered by Ann Mohlmann, a dear family friend whose closeness to both him and Lorraine was a treasured part of their lives.
His kindness, his steadiness, and the love he carried for his family will remain with us always.
Rest peacefully. You are loved beyond measure.
