It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert A. Erdman, a beloved husband, son, father, and grandfather, who left us on April 12, 2026. Born on April 24, 1950, in Jamaica, New York, Robert's life was a testament to love, family, and the quiet strength of a man devoted to those he held dear.
Robert’s gentle spirit and warm heart enriched the lives of his family and friends alike. He was not only a steadfast pillar to his parents, Robert and Helen, but also a loving husband to his devoted wife, Debra. His unwavering support and care extended deeply into his own family, where he took immense pride in his children: Bobby and his wife Michele, Stephen and his wife Martha, and his cherished daughter Melissa and her fiance Bill.
His joy multiplied with his beautiful grandchildren — Jenna, Megan, Brooke, Molly, Richard, Samantha, Jackson, Macy, and Breelyn — each of whom carried a piece of his legacy in their smiles and laughter.
The loss of Robert is a profound one, felt deeply by all who knew him. His life was a beautiful journey marked by enduring love and an indelible spirit. We hold on to the memories of him and his life.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on April 15, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Moloney’s Bohemia Funeral Home, located at 1320 Lakeland Avenue, Bohemia, NY 11716. A prayer service will follow at 6:00 PM the same day, here at the funeral home, honoring a life so richly lived.
On April 16, 2026, a Mass celebrating Robert’s life will be held at St. John Nepomucene, 1140 Locust Avenue, Bohemia, NY 11716, beginning at 11:15 AM We invite all who knew Robert to attend and commemorate the legacy of a man who meant so much to so many.
As we say goodbye, we hold tightly to the love Robert shared and the memories that will forever brighten our hearts. Though he has departed from this world, his spirit remains with us — in the stories we tell, the lessons he taught, and the family that will carry his memory forward through generations.
Rest in peace, Robert A. Erdman. You will be dearly missed and eternally loved.
