Robert M. Koepper of Lake Ronkonkoma NY was born to Robert T Koepper (d.) and Mary Koepper (d.) on March 10, 1949, in Bronx NY. He grew up in East Northport, NY where he graduated high school and served as a Naval Construction Engineer in the Sea Bees from 1969 until 1971, with an active-duty tour in Vietnam.
He attended NYIT and Stony Brook University before embarking on a career in the aviation industry (Garrett Aviation) and manufacturing supply (Bearings Limited). A devoted parishioner, Bob was an Usher, Lector, Eucharistic Minister and served as a trustee of St. Joseph's Church in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY.
His devotion and passion for service extended to the Knights of Columbus, St. Regis Chapter, and he was also a Sir Knight of the John J. Shea Fourth-Degree Assembly.
Upon his retirement, Bob embarked on his new favorite past time of playing golf along with continuing to be the most devoted Pop-Pop to his beloved grandchildren. His unexpected passing at the young age of seventy-five years has impacted a great number of friends and his entire family.
Hi is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Joanne Koepper, his son Stephen and daughter-in-law Maryanne Koepper along with his grandchildren Nicole and Jason.
Additionally survived by his sisters Marie Kane (John Kane) and Elizabeth Haugsjaa (Jules Haugsjaa) and uncle to John Robert, Ann Marie, Katheryn, Ryan and Kristine.
