Robert Alistair Peck

Robert Alistair Peck, born on October 8, 1943, in Manhattan, New York, was the eldest of three siblings. His siblings, Grace and Douglas, predeceased him in life.

Raised in Shirley, New York, Bob graduated from William Floyd High School and married Katherine Zizza at a young age who later divorced.

He left college early to raise his family with his three children, Laurie, Robin, and Ricky. During their young years, he spent many summers boating, fishing, and creating cherished memories with life long friends and family.

In collaboration with a business partner, Bob opened a tile and ceramic store in St. James. Subsequently, he obtained his contractor’s license and embarked on a career in building custom homes. Later in life, he transitioned into an international sales position for companies in Italy and Spain.

In 1988, Bob married Paulette, the love of his life. Together, they formed a blended family with Paulette's children Craig and Andrea, and celebrated their family’s accomplishments while embarking on global travel with beautiful vacations. They cultivated strong friendships with their neighbors in Stonebridge, engaging in regular dinners, golf, travel and cards and cherished friendships.

Bob was blessed with nine grandchildren: Anthony and Matthew Mendillo, AJ and Nicholas Franze, Sean and Sofia Peck, Dominic, Lorenzo, and Isabella Jandoli, and Matteo Bellise. Additional blessings of great grandchildren followed with twins, Thomas, Jacob and younger sister Macie Ann.

He lived a full life enriched life with Paulette and held immense pride and joy in their blended family. His passing leaves us with a profound loss to all who knew him.
