Rodolfo V. Pelosi

Rodolfo (Rudy) Valentino Pelosi passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2026 surrounded by his sons, Stanley and Randy. Born in Brooklyn NY on December 24, 1926 to Stanislao and Emma, he went to PS 112 in Brooklyn, graduating High School in 1945, but finished his last year at night as he had to assist with family financial obligations due to his father’s illness and (2) brothers' enlistment in the US Arms Forces.

Rudy also served his country during WW2 in the Army. After returning home he obtained employment at a shipping company where he was their star softball player, and during those hard times this “activity” assisted him with gainful employment.

He met the Love of his Life, Natalie, at a local dance/social club. They were married, traveled for a bit and started a family, Stanley, Lydia and Randy. At the encouragement of his mother-in-law, he applied and was successfully appointed to the New York City Fire Department where served 27 years in various Companies throughout NYC and loved every moment of it.

Rudy and Natalie enjoyed traveling, spending time with their family and time at their condo in West Palm Beach, FL. Rudy especially loved the casinos in particular the crap tables in which Lady Luck shined upon him quite often. He consumed and savored his Italian Pastries which were always plentiful around the holidays, and of course, watching the NY Yankees and NY Rangers.

He was loved by his family, his 3 children and spouses, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and will be missed by them all.
