Ronald A. Germano, lovingly known as “Pop Pop” by his grandchildren, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Ron later settled in Suffolk County, where he built a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Elizabeth, and their children. A proud Navy veteran and longtime employee of the U.S. Postal Service, Ron was known for his hard work, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to his family.
He was the most sincere, kind-hearted, and sweet man—someone who never hesitated to offer a helping hand or share a warm smile. His presence was comforting, his words gentle, and his love unconditional.
A devoted Catholic, Ron’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. He lived with humility, gratitude, and compassion, always guided by a deep belief in God and the power of prayer.
Ron is survived by his daughter Lisa-Ann and her husband Chad, as well as his cherished grandchildren Emilie, Hunter, Mason, and Nolan, who will forever hold their Pop Pop in their hearts. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth and his son Ronald Jr., and is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
Ron’s legacy of love, faith, integrity, and kindness lives on in the lives of those who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
