It is with God’s grace and peace that passes all understanding that we announce our greatly loved Sara DiSpigno, went home to be with our Lord and Redeemer Jesus on March 26, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on July 10, 1937, in beautiful Naples, Italy, Sara graced this world with her unconditional love, strong faith, and insurmountable zest for life, always centered around Christ.
Sara, affectionately and undeniably known as “Sara on the Go,” was a devoted homemaker who believed that a God centered family,being a mother, and raising her children was a great gift and God’s highest calling. She dedicated her life to her family, nurturing and caring for them with boundless love and an unwavering faith in Christ. She had a passion for cooking and feeding her loved ones, always bringing everyone together around the dinner table. Her kitchen was a haven filled with warmth, delicious meals, and laughter.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel V. DiSpigno, and her cherished children: Teresa Barra (her late husband Joseph),Daniel V. DiSpigno Jr., John A. DiSpigno, and her daughter-in-love Allyson.
Sara's legacy continues through her treasured grandchildren: Jason Robert Ladick (his wife, Christina), Justin Michael Ladick (his wife, Kelly), Everett Grant DiSpigno, Quincy Rhodes DiSpigno, and Holden Pryce DiSpigno, as well as her great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Rose Ladick, Declan Charles Ladick, Grace Noelle Ladick, and Kyle Ethan Ladick.
Sara will also be remembered fondly by her last living sibling , her sister, Eiosa Ferruggio, and her dearest friend Jessie Knust, as well as many dear relatives, including Jill and Joseph Caputo and their children: Christina, Joseph, Christopher, and Julianna, who held a special place in her heart. She was predeceased by her siblings: Samuel, Mary, Vincent, John, Eliseo, and Leo, with whom she is now rejoicing in God’s presence.
