Sidney Harvey Williams

Sidney Harvey Williams, Lake Grove, passed away Wednesday December 9, following a brief illness.
He was born in Aquebogue on July 24, 1923 to Harvey and Agnus (Virginia Pettit) Williams. Following graduation from Sayville High School he joined the Army and served in Europe during WWII. Upon his return, he married Muriel Overton. He retired from Carlson Precast and has enjoyed caning chairs for the past 30 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife Muriel, an infant daughter, and 9 siblings. He is survived by son Brian (Elaine) Meadville, PA; daughter Joyce (Michael) Bogin Centereach, NY; and son Jeffrey of Pittsburgh. Along with 6 grandchildren, Rich, Bethany, Dan, Virginia, Rebecca, David and 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and a sister.
