Stephen Calinski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Calinski, at the age of 83, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Stephen left us after a remarkable life filled with love and dedication to his family.

Married for an incredible 61 years, Stephen shared a beautiful journey with his beloved wife, Catherine, creating a life rich in memories and laughter. He was a proud father to Danny (Stefanie), Tommy and Karen and an even prouder grandfather, to Steven, Samantha and Danielle, who found immense joy in watching his grandchildren grow. Patches, their dog, found his forever home when he made sure to make a lasting impression on Stephen by walking up to him and falling asleep on his shoes. Once home, Patches proceeded to chew every shoe, remote control, phone and item he saw after that.

Stephen had a multitude of passions that enriched his life. He cherished the quiet moments spent fishing and boating. His mechanical talent was evident in his hands, where he honed skills in working on various vehicles and undertaking home improvement projects, all as a self-taught craftsman.

A man of many games, Stephen enjoyed playing poker and other card games, often bringing friends and family together for spirited gatherings filled with fun and camaraderie. His love for music, particularly DooWop, filled his home and heart.

Stephen will be deeply missed by his family and friends, whose lives he touched with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering support. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
