Susan Elizabeth Gross (née Wynne)

Susan Elizabeth Gross, born Susan Elizabeth Wynne, passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 72. 

She was the beloved widow of Richard Gross and a devoted mother to Dawn Crupi (John), Ronald Humphreys (Alison), Tara Friaglia (Billy), and Elizabeth Reffi (Leo).

Susan was a proud and loving Nana to Jonathan, Ashley, Caitlin, AJ, Michael, Izabella, Teagen, Willow, Marshall, Stone, Anthony, Melissa, and Nicholas. She was also cherished as “Yaya” to Cole Richard Thomas, a role she held close to her heart.

She is also survived by her siblings: Patricia Marklin (Skip), Jeffrey Wynne (Mary), Carol Tremblay (Marc), Kathleen Quigley (Glenn) , and Ann Marie Clifford.

Sue’s life was defined by her family and the love of her garden and her pets. She leaves behind a legacy through the many lives she touched. She will be remembered for her tough exterior, stubbornness, crudeness, foul mouth but most importantly the love, presence, and the enduring connections she maintained with those around her.

A Garden Memorial Service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 12-4pm
