Susan E. O'Donnell

Susan E. O'Donnell, of Port Jefferson, New York, passed away at the age of 81. She was born on September 11, 1944 in St. Louis, MO. Susan lived a life defined by love, compassion, curiosity, and a steadfast devotion to her family and the countless children whose lives she touched.
Susan was the beloved wife of John R. O'Donnell, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and treasured memories for 51 years. Susan was the devoted daughter of the late John & Mary Bolles and loving sister of the late Mary Jane Decker. She was the loving Aunt and Great Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A dedicated teacher at the Andrew Muller Primary School in Miller Place, New York, Susan believed every child deserved patience, encouragement, and the opportunity to discover the joy of learning. She had a remarkable gift for making young students feel safe, confident, and valued. Through her gentle guidance, warm smile, and caring heart, she inspired generations of children and earned the admiration of parents and colleagues alike.
Beyond the classroom, Susan embraced life with an adventurous spirit.
