After a courageous journey, it is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terrence Robert Emde, beloved husband, devoted father, son, brother, uncle, "outlaw," and friend to many, who left this world too early on October 26, 2025.
A true family man, Terrence, was the rock on which his family stood. His love for his wife and children was unconditional, unwavering, and without limits. As a husband, his love was steadfast and tender, shown by constant everyday devotion. She was his heart’s home, and he spent his life ensuring she always knew she was loved beyond measure. As a father, he was a patient teacher, a compassionate listener, and a constant source of love, support, and guidance.
His loyalty to his family and friends was immeasurable, and his generosity knew no bounds. He was always there for others—offering help without hesitation, kindness without expectation, and love without condition. Terrence was adored by his family and friends. His love for them was evident in the bonds he formed and the relationships he made. The countless stories and fond memories will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Terrence was a man whose presence could light up any room, not through many words, but rather through his quiet, genuine kindness and sharp wit. Terence’s wit and humor were legendary. He had a way of making everyone laugh, even in the most difficult times. His lighthearted jokes and playful spirit were admired by all who knew him. He had a rare ability to make everyone around him feel welcome, valued, and loved. Whether with his sarcastic zingers or his humble gestures, he brought warmth and joy wherever he went. His gentle demeanor and calm presence made him a trusted confidant, and his family and friends knew him as someone who would always stand by them, no matter the circumstance.
Terrence’s humility was one of his many defining traits. Never one to seek attention or praise, he was content with doing good deeds quietly, expecting nothing in return. He lived his life with a sense of purpose that was rooted in love and respect for others, and he was loved deeply in return by all.
Though his time with us was far too short, the impact Terrence made on this world will be felt for years to come. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, forever cherished and never forgotten.
In his honor, the family invites all those whose lives were touched by Terrence to join them in celebrating his life and the incredible man he was.
Rest in peace, Terrence. You are loved and will be dearly missed.
