Thomas N. Wixted

WIXTED, Thomas (Tom) 78 of Ronkonkoma, NY passed away at 9:11 am on March 9th 2017. His family believes he was welcomed into heaven by his son PO Glen Pettit-EOT 9/11/01 and a brand new set of golf clubs. He served his country as a Marine and worked for over 25 years at Kings Park Psychiatric Center as the Head Maintenance Supervisor.

Twice blessed in love he was the loving husband to Jane (Pettit) and the late Joan (Higgins).

Beloved father to Tara (Tim), Deirdre (Bill), Joseph (Roseann), Thomas (Stacie), Neil (Megan) and predeceased by Glen.

Loving Grandfather to Aidan, Erin, Brendan, Patrick, Kylie, Thomas, John Luke, Shannon and Kerrin and if he forgot their name they all answered to “Bubba”.

Reposing Moloney’s Bohemia Funeral Home, 1320 Lakeland Avenue, Bohemia, NY. Visiting Saturday 6-9pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Monday 10 AM Holy Cross R.C. Church, Nesconset.
