Trina Willette Leslie

Trina Willette Leslie was born on May 4, 1970, in Harlem, New York, to the late Gladys Marie Moultrie and the late William McCall. She graduated from John Adams High School in 1988. As a little girl, Trina loved playing with Barbie dolls and spending time with her beloved mother and extended family. She found joy in singing on the Crusade Choir at the Tabernacle of Prayer in Jamaica, NY, where she worshipped for many years. In her young adult years, Trina worked as a home health aide—a career path through which she met her loving husband, Vincent Leslie. They were united in marriage on December 15, 1995, and from their union, three beautiful daughters were born: Vennetta, Olivia, and Vivianna Leslie, all of Connecticut. Trina was a woman of strength and resilience. During her final years, as she faced health challenges, she was lovingly cared for by her devoted sister, Bridget. On July 18, 2025, at 1:16 PM, surrounded by the sound of prayer, God gently called Trina home. She leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters: Vennetta, Olivia, and Vivianna Leslie; her siblings: Armden Moultrie (Barbara), Bridget Hopkins, and Grover Moultrie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Leslie. Trina’s smile could light up any room. Her warm heart, sweet spirit, and kind soul will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
