Veronica Buscemi

Veronica “Ronnie” died peacefully on September 18 after a long illness.
She was the loving wife to Peter(pre-deceased) for 58½ years and a devoted mother to Peter (Ann) and Theresa (Steve). She was a beloved “Nannie” to Samantha (Kathleen), Alexandra, Caroline, and Gianna. A cherished sister to the late William (Karen) and the late Charles (Marilyn), sister-in-law to Patricia (late Vincent) and her many nieces and nephews.

She dedicated 40 years of her career to Allstate Insurance Company, beginning in the clerical pool and working her way up to become an Underwriting Specialist. Her commitment, dedication, and years of service were an important part of her life.

She had a special love for knitting. Over the years, she knitted countless blankets, scarves, and hats for her granddaughters, family, and friends, as well as for donations to those in need. She took great joy in sharing her talent with others and taught many people the art of knitting, including her granddaughters and the nurses and aides who cared for her later in life.

She also loved to travel and treasured the memories made on trips with her husband and family, from Florida and California to Europe. Wherever she went, it was the time spent with the people she loved that made the journey special.

Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her granddaughters and family. Their love and presence brought her immeasurable joy and were the greatest blessings of her life. We will miss her every day.
