In Loving Memory of Vincent Gati

March 4, 1954 - May 23, 2025

Vincent Gati, beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, in his cherished motor home, surrounded by the family he loved so deeply. He was 71.

Born on March 4, 1954, Vincent devoted his life to his family and his craft. A master glazier, he began working in the family trade in 1972 and, in 1988, took a bold step to open his own business. Through his hard work and dedication, he built a successful multi million dollar company and left an enduring legacy in the trade he loved.

Vincent is survived by his sons, Jason Gati, Gregory Gati, and Tyler Gati; his stepsons, Sean Loodus and Anthony Loodus; his granddaughters, Savannah Gati and Miley Gati, who is expected to arrive later this year. He also leaves behind his siblings: Marianna Gati (Smith), Danette Gati, Glenn Gati, and Jaime Gati. He's also survived by four nieces and two nephews, five great nephews and one great niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Violet Gati, and his younger brother, Ricky Gati.

After retiring in 2023, Vincent took to the road in his motor home to visit family across the country-California, Arizona, North Carolina-and eventually settled in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. His final chapter was filled with the same purpose and passion he carried throughout his life: connection, laughter, and love.

Vincent will be remembered for his warm heart, relentless work ethic, and above all, his sense of humor. He always had a joke ready and could light up any room with his wit and charm. The world lost a little bit of its funny this week, but his laughter and stories will echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Vinny's presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on through his family, his legacy, and the countless lives he touched.
