Vincent Richard Trotta Sr., age 83, of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 24, 2026. Born on April 19, 1942, in the Bronx, New York, Vincent was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Vincent was married to his beloved wife, Raeffela Trotta, for 57 years, beginning their journey together on April 20, 1968. He was a devoted father to his three children: daughter Nancy Ann Lizzi, Vincent Trotta Jr. and Thomas Trotta (Maria Zuniga). Vincent's legacy will be continued by his five grandchildren: Michael Lizzi, Mathew Lizzi, Vittorio Trotta, Luca Trotta, and Genevieve Trotta. He is also survived by his siblings: William (Helen) and Edward (Chris), and Maryann (Gerald) Ennella. He was predeceased by his brother Richard.
Vincent proudly served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964, where he honed his skills as a cook. After his military service, he dedicated 20 years to teaching culinary classes at BOCES in Nassau County, New York, where he inspired countless students with his passion for cooking.
An avid gardener, Vincent delighted in cultivating vegetables and sharing them with his family and neighbors. He took great pride in maintaining a beautiful home and yard and enjoyed reading, notably the newspaper, and riding his bike. Vincent had a keen interest in real estate throughout the country and committed many years to serving on the board of elections for the Connetquot School District. Vincent always kept his car immaculate; he could often be found washing his cars, passing down this commitment to his children. He was a man of faith, attending church regularly and embodying the values of love and service.
Vincent Trotta will be remembered as a devoted husband and father who was proud of his service to his country and his unwavering commitment to his community. He leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
