Virginia Marie Abbate

"We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Virginia M. Abbate of Holtsville, who passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026, at the age of 69.Virginia was the beloved wife of Thomas, with whom she shared a lifetime of unwavering love, devotion, and cherished memories. She was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and treasured friend whose kindness, compassion, and generosity touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her. 

She will be remembered for her warm heart, quiet strength, and nurturing spirit. Virginia had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and togetherness, where family and friends were greeted with open arms, unconditional love, and a home-cooked meal. She found joy in caring for others, and her generosity created lasting memories that will be cherished for generations. 

Virginia was deeply loved by her family and by the many friends whose lives she enriched. Though her presence will be profoundly missed, her love, grace, and the countless lives she touched will remain in the hearts of all who knew her forever.
