It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my dear husband, a cherished partner, devoted father, grandfather and brother.
He is leaving behind a legacy of love, caring and an unwavering commitment to family and friends. He dedicated his life to bettering the lives of those around him. He had a warm smile and a big heart. He guided his family with heart felt wisdom and love. His influence will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He served our country in the Vietnam war. In his professional life he earned respect and admiration for his dedication and vision as the head of all events and functions at Farmingdale college for over 40 years.
He also enjoyed playing pinochle, singing and playing his guitar with his brother Wayne. He also enjoyed playing slots at his favorite casinos.
He is survived by his loving family. Wife of 52 years: Susan Carpentiere, his son William Carpentiere Jr, daughter Valerie Carpentiere, grandaughter Bethany Harris, brother Wayne Carpentiere, sister Rosemarie Pietrzak, sister Denise Degray, his cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceeded in death by his Brother Gary Carpentiere, Mother Emily Carpentiere, Father William Carpentiere, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
As we mourn this irreplaceable loss we also celebrate all the memories he left behind.
He will be dearly missed, never forgotten and forever held in our hearts.
