Winifredo P. Gonzales Jr.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Winifredo Paguibitan Gonzales Jr., age 54, of Queens, New York, who passed away on October 30, 2025.

Born on August 28, 1971, in Lupao, Philippines, Winifredo moved to New York as a young boy and later raised his family in New York City. Known to many as Fred, he will be remembered for his contagious smile, facetious antics, deep devotion to his family and friends, and tenacious positive outlook on life. He lived life to the fullest and will forever be cherished in our memories as a loving son, father, and eldest brother.

Winifredo is survived by his children, Jonathan and Aimee. He was preceded in death by Anita Saitta.

A memorial service will be held on January 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Moloney’s Hauppauge Funeral Home.
