Pappalardo, Angelo J. of Ronkonkoma, NY on March 11, 2018 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Jean. Loving father of Patricia Sacca (Martin), Gloria J. Steiding (Dean), James, and Michael (Barbara). Cherished grandfather of Karena (Andrew), John (Danielle), Sarah (Thomas), Michael (Carmen), Janine (Derek), Cielle and Great grandfather of 11. Dear brother of Mary, Carmen, Dorothy, John, the late Frank and Joseph.
Born in 1927 in Sicily, Italy, he immigrated to the US at age 7. After high school, he joined the Navy during World War II. After his service, he graduated from the University of Connecticut and was an electrical engineer at Sperry Corporation for 30 years. He loved music, most especially Opera and took a keen interest in science and math. He enjoyed the beaches of Long Island but most of all, he loved his family. He will be forever in our hearts.“La famiglia è la patria del cuore”.
Arrangements entrusted to Moloney’s Hauppauge Funeral Home, 840 Wheeler Road (Rte.111),Hauppauge, NY where a Funeral service will be held 10AM Monday. Inurnment following St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Smithtown, NY.
