I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Ben's passing. I have such great memories of our family get togethers all those years ago when I was a kid. My Dad and Uncle Ben were always cutting up, laughing and smiling. And those "We Try Harder" buttons! He'd always bring some for my brother and I. We'd wear them for weeks like they were the Medal of Honor! I still only rent from Avis when I travel because I still associate Avis with the good times with Uncle Ben, Aunt Harriet and the boys. Over the years I've shared many "Uncle Ben and Aunt Harriet" stories with my wife (of now 37 years!). You will be missed.

Please allow me to express my sincerest condolences to Mr. Goerke's family and the many friends he left behind. Your loss is monumental, however, your pain should be tempered by warm memories of the great times you shared with him. The man was a gentleman of the first order and was always welcoming, engaging, and thoughtful. It was truly a pleasure to have met and befriended him and his lovely, late wife some 48 years ago.
