David Falcon

Rev. David Falcon, 78, went to be with the lord on February 7, 2019, surrounded by loving family. He was born on May 19, 1940 in Cayey, Puerto Rico to Ramon and Maria Falcon. After moving to Central Islip, New York, in 1974 he began his career as a barber, ultimately building several successful unisex hair salons throughout Suffolk County while providing a platform for those seeking opportunity. A mentor and spiritual leader to many in his community, he leaves behind a legacy of generosity and life-long devotion to his family and church, the Assemblies of God. He pastored multiple churches throughout his journey of faith. Most recently, he led the Congregation of Christ Pentecostal Church in Central Islip. He is survived by his 9 brothers, 2 sisters, and his wife, the love of his life for over 62 years, Josefa, their 7 children: Irma, Angel, Hilda, Abigail, David, Ada, Josue; a combined 23 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
