Edward Sepe

Edward Sepe, born October 5, 1927 in Far Rockaway, NY. Died peacefully at Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk, East Northport NY, May 28, 2020 at 92 years. Edward grew up in Brooklyn NY with his Mother Alice and brothers William, Joseph (all predeceased) and Thomas of Florida. His father,  Amodio, died when Edward was just 2 years old. Despite financial hardships, he grew up a happy child in a loving home.

He was a WWII Veteran, starting with the Merchant Marines at 16 yrs old and at 18 he joined the infantry and became a corporal in the Army. He was a champion swimmer on the Army Team under the European Command. His love of swimming would be with him his whole life.

He and his beloved wife, Josephine, were married in 1950 and would have celebrated 70 years of marriage this November. A true loving marriage, they were a devoted couple to the end. He was a loving and engaged father and father-in-law to Joy Sepe Wurm (William), Lorrie O’Brien, Douglas Sepe (Kim) and Robin Sepe Cavallaro (John). Cherished grandfather of Tina, Dana, Adam, Morgan and Madison and Cherished Great Grandfather of Brianna, Andrew, Matthew, Tyler and Lillian.
