Just got my Squeal Desk and saw that Joan Yale has passed away. So very sorry to get that news. Joan was such a wonderful and dedicated person who I had know for many great years with N.C.P.D. Prayers got out to Wayne Seay and the rest of the family. There will never be another like Joan.
—-beautiful on the inside and outside—-
wonderful memories of Joan & Steve growing up in 1950’s
East New York, Brooklyn
My sincere condolences to Wayne, Jessica, Adam and your entire family. She was a strong, successful woman admired by all. I remember the great times we had with the Girl Scouts and all the “fun raising” we did for the trips.—Dorney Park , Battleship Cove, Splish Splash and more. We laughed a lot. My thoughts and prayers with you all. Rest In Peace, Dear Joan.
I saw Joan’s obituary today in Newsday & was so saddened to learn of her death & that I missed the wake & funeral. I met Joan taking an interior design class & along with 2 others we became close friends & would go out to dinner & other events. We lost contact after her diagnosis. She was such a kind, casual, easy going person to be around. Our hearts are heavy & share your loss. Please accept our deepest condolences.
I only new Joan a short time but she was an amazing woman. My condolences to Wayne and the family

Sorry for your loss. She was a real trail blazer. Always genuine. She showed both male and female police officers what great leadership is. I am sure she will be greatly missed.
