Obituary

Beltrani, John Vincent, 67, of Farmingville, NY, died of prostate cancer on July 13, 2011. Born on June 2, 1944, in Ozone Park, NY, he is the son of the late Vincent and Grace McFarland. John was an amazing, dedicated husband of 43 years to Mary Louise. He was a hero and best friend to Ann Marie (Patrick) and Michael (Julie). John was the oldest of four children including Marie (Richard), the late Robert (Diane) and Harry (Susan). He was an extraordinary Pop Pop and Cheerleader to his five grandchildren John (Jack), Rebecca, Allison, Emily and Carina.

John graduated from Plainedge High School in 1962 and served in the First Calvary Division United States Army and in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967. John was a Principal in First Adjustment Group in Patchogue, NY and over his 45 year career in the insurance industry helped thousands of families and businesses in their time of need. As an avid golfer, John was a founding member of the Long Island Golf League and in 2008 was the only member to go undefeated. He was a board member and advocate for East End Disabilities in Riverhead, NY.

Memorial visitation Moloneys Holbrook Funeral Home 825 Main St., Holbrook, NY where a religious service will be held Sunday 8:00 PM. Funeral Monday 10:45 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, Farmingville, NY. Burial of cremated remains at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, NY.

Services

A religious service will be held Sunday July 17, 2011 8:00 pm at Moloney's Holbrook Funeral Home. Funeral mass Monday July 18, 2011 10:45 am at the Church of the Resurrection.

Moloney's Holbrook Funeral Home Saturday July 16, 2011 & Sunday July 17, 2011 2-4 & 7-9 pm
