Karen Ann Blaikie

Karen Ann Blaikie, a long-time resident of NY, passed away peacefully on November 26,2021. She was proud to have made it to her 75th birthday, surrounded by her loving family. Karen leaves behind a devoted husband, John of 53 years, 2 daughters and 2 sons-in-law: Mel and Kief, Amanda and Rusty, and known as Grambie to her 2 beautiful granddaughters, Catherine and Madeline. She is also survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary, and she was a loving aunt/sister-in-law. She was so proud to be an US House of Representative Staffer from 1989-1995 and was proud of her history as a military spouse. A woman of extraordinary talents including the hostess with the mostess, decorating, painting, designing, sewing, cooking and baking, church choir singer, and a country line dancer. Mom leaves behind many friends and family that loved her spark, her feistiness, and her welcoming ways with the gift of gab.
