To my dear daughter-in-law, I am deeply sorry for your loss! Your grandmother was an exceptionally sweet lady! At your baby shower, she was the hit of the party -- one person after another kept telling me what a very nice person she was. She loved you very much and was a blessing to everyone who knew her, even a little. My heart goes out to you! I wish I could find words of comfort! All I can think of is to say is that the profound love you shared does not go away -- you will taste it when you make her cherished recipes, hear it in the bluebird's song, feel it in the high wind's touch, and see it in the rock in the sand. Love, Amah

I love you grandma and will remember you always. You were like a mother to me. You were always there to listen to me, give me a hug when I needed it or remind me to keep a stiff upper lip, never judgemental and never sugar coated either. I am glad you lived a full life of 90 years and am glad you're no longer suffering but will never stop missing you. RIP
