In Loving Memory of Marianne Hill, 84, who passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018.
Marianne was born on July 9, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Salvatore and Theresa Del Prete. Marianne was raised in Brooklyn and graduated from Fort Hamilton High School in 1952. She completed a 2 year Associates Degree and went on to become a clothing buyer. During her lifetime, Marianne held other various jobs and later worked for the Cenacle Retreat House where she eventually retired. She made many lasting friendships along the way.
Marianne is the adored wife of Arthur G. Hill. They met in junior high school and were high school sweethearts. They eventually married on February 10, 1957.
Marianne was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother Edward Del Prete, her sister Rosemary De Paris, her brother-in-law David De Paris.
A devoted wife and mother, Marianne is survived by her beloved husband, Arthur G. Hill, her son, Gerard Hill (Jane), her two daughters, Lorraine Frankel (Eric) and Christine Burke (Michael) and four grandsons, Justin, Jakob, Ryan, and Tyler, her sister-in-law Ann Del Prete, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Marianne is known for her genuine and caring heart, and nurturing spirit. She had a deep appreciation for music and theater and loved to sing, enjoy life and have fun. She valued family the most, being together and sharing special times with the people she loved. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Rest In Peace and God Bless our beautiful and sweet wife and mother.
